Hi !!

A lazy boy hardly studies. ► AFFIRMATIVE

A lazy boy never  study. ► NEGATIVE.CORRECT

sorry, I was wrong on the first post. NEVER doesn't accept any other negation even "hardly" or "scarcely" ....

When you use "hardly" you can't put another negation

you can't say

a lazy boy doesn't hardly study but ►

a lazy boy doesn't study.

OR

a lazy boy hardly study.

sorry for the misunderstanding

☺☺☺
