You can pick any two points on a line to find the slope of that line.

Let's choose (3, 1) and (6,2)

The slope formula is [tex]slope = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

Plugging in our points we get the slope as

[tex]Slope = \frac{2 - 1}{6 - 2} = \boxed{\bf{\frac{1}{3}}}[/tex]

The slope of the hypotenuses are 1/3.
