Answer: Bohr's atomic model is the basis for chemistry because it explains the chemistry of atom.

Explanation: This model states that the electrons having fixed energy and they move around the nucleus of an atom in a confined path or orbit. It also explains that in the ground state, the energy of the electron is very low, and it is close to the nucleus. And after gaining energy, the electron gets excited to higher energy level. It concludes that electrons can able to shifts their orbit by losing or gaining energy.
