2/6 x 5 = 10/30
4/5 x 6 = 24/30
so 10/30 + 24/30 = 34/30 or 1 4/30

Remember "common demoninators"
It's where you make the denominators the same by multiply both the numerator AND the denominator. Then add them!

Step 1 (Make the denominator same):
2/6 x 5/5 = 10/30
4/5 x 6/6 = 24/30

Step 2 (Add them):
10/30 + 24/30= 34/30

Step 3 (Simplify):
34/30 = 1 4/30 = 1 2/15

The answer would be 1 2/15

**I hope this helped! :) Have a great day beautiful!
