The length of a rectangle is 3 cm less than twice its width. if the width is x cm, give an expression in x for the length of the rectangle in cm.

width of rec. = x
lenght of rec. = twice of width (2x) and 3cm less from the above value.....so in shorter words.......2x - 3 cm



so the expression of lenght in x is ...... 2x - 3 CM
