2) simplify 1*4 to 4
5 x 4+3 over 4

okay so here you go: your question is 5 ×13/4, so first we need to first convert to a fraction, so its now 5/1 × 13/4. so now you multiply straight across so its 5×13=65 and 1×4=4 so its now 65/4. now we divide it to get a mixed number, 16 1/4
